Developed slotting process for high volume (10,000 orders/day) DC to monitor five major zone fast pick areas. Maximized order picking effectiveness, reduced labor requirements by more than 30%, and expanding order cut-off time by 3 hours leading to greater same day revenue recognition.

Stepped in as a Director of Operations, on a turn-around basis, while developing the functional specifications of a WMS system. Developed the metrics and executed change management towards “the perfect order.” Improved ship window from 1:30 to 4:00 PM, order integrity from 93% to 99.7% and inventory accuracy from 89% to 99.9% while providing for 32% increase in revenue with same hourly work force.

Led the Manufacturing/Distribution Strategic Planning Committee tasked with providing capacity for the global network consistent with cost and marketing presence. Responsible for the design and fit-out of all worldwide plants, including product to plant matrices. Reduced the incremental facility space plan from 30% to 17%, while demonstrating increased capacity for 2 year revenue plan of 45% while reducing materials handling labor in excess of 30% of plan.
